Financial Audit Department

The Financial Audit Department implements international audit best practices. 

The Department develops in-depth international audit & assurance projects and the use of optimization and automation tools in the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. International audit practice is another strategic core activity of the Department, taking into account the high level of professional expertise and diversified knowledge it possesses. The staff includes qualified auditors and accountants, accredited in professional agencies and international bodies, including the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

The agenda of the Department includes up-to-date approaches to audit procedures, advanced sampling techniques using various IT-tools, as well as best practices of quality management. The broad international experience of its staff encourages such activities, as audit of international organizations and participation in experts’ working groups (e.g. INTOSAI, professional groups of United Nations, etc.).

The Department includes the following groups:

• Development of Financial Audit Group;

• Audit Results Technical Review Group.
